Fyfe will play college soccer for one of the top NCAA programs in Texas
DJCT 96/95B player Cooper Fyfe, out of Lake Travis High School, has committed to play college soccer at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX starting in the Fall 2014. Cooper, who had offers from St. Edward's, Southwestern, Dallas Baptist, Texas Lutheran, and UT-Dallas, will play for one of the top NCAA men's soccer programs in the country. Trinity became the first college/university in the state of Texas to capture a soccer national championship when they went 24-0 and won the 2003 NCAA Division III National Championship. Runners-up in 2007, the program is led by Paul McGinlay, entering his 24th season at TU, and the winningest (by percentage) active soccer coach in the country. Congrats to Cooper on a great club and high school career and good luck at Trinity!
