Parker Fyfe, Jackson Harris and Curran Kelly, all members of the Dynamo Juniors of Central Texas' C-98B team, signed letters of intent to play college soccer next year, with Fyfe signing for St. Edward's University (Austin, TX), Harris for Evergreen State (Olympia, WA) and Kelly for UT-Dallas (Dallas, TX).
Fyfe, who joins the Hilltoppers at the NCAA DII-level, sees SEU coming off their fourth-straight Heartland Conference Regular Season title and second-straight Heartland Conference Tournament title. They advanced to the program's third-ever NCAA Tournament in 2015, where they fell in the Round of 32. They produced a 15-3-2 record and outscored the opposition, 53-10.
Harris, who will play for the Geoducks at the NAIA level, joins a team that finished the 2015 season with a 13-3-2 mark and set a new single-season winning percentage record for Evergreen men's soccer at .778. The Geoducks, who compete in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, advanced to the tournament semifinals in 2015.
Kelly, who will play for the Comets at the NCAA DIII-level, joins a team that posted a 15-4-3 overall record in 2015, finishing one win shy of the program record for victories. UTD went 7-1-1 in the league, placing second, and picked up the third American Southwest Conference title in program history. The Comets made their second straight and fourth-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
Congrats to Parker, Jackson and Curran on their tremendous accomplishments.
