Dynamo Juniors of Central Texas and Dundee FC Announce Affiliation

Dynamo Juniors of Central Texas (DJCT) Executive Director, John Nelms, has been named to the Board of Directors of Dundee FC in the Scottish Professional Football League (Championship flight) and the Director of Football Operations for the club.  John, as part of a group entitled Football Partners Scotland (FPS), has invested in Dundee FC to help the 120-year-old club back into the top flight of Scotland - the Scottish Premiership.  John, as part of his role, will oversee the youth academy program for the Dark Blues, the nickname for Dundee FC.
The affiliation between Dundee FC and DJCT will be unique to just about any youth soccer club in the country.  DJCT will have the ability to send players to Scotland to train with Dundee FC Academy, along with Dundee FC coaches/players traveling to the U.S. to compete with and against DJCT teams/players.

John will continue to serve as the Executive Director for DJCT, but will split his time between Dundee, Scotland and Austin, Texas.  DJCT’s affiliation with the Houston Dynamo, as the only MLS-affiliated club in Central Texas, remains with the club, serving as an official affiliate.   For more information on Dundee FC, go to www.dundeefc.co.uk/
